Location: Chaoyang, Liaoning Province, China

Skull length: 185 mm

Diagnosis: A Tapejarid pterosaur with skull and jaw morphologies between Sinopterus and Tapejara; the premaxillary saggital crest and dentary sagittal crest are deeper than those in Sinopterus, but shallower than those in Tapejara. The posterior expansion of the premaxillary crest is arced in lateral view and the ventral margin of the upper jaw is smoothly curved ventrally. A short cleft is present on the central part of the palatal surface. (Lü & Yuan, 2005)
