Diagnosis: Pterodactyloid with fibula exhibiting a similar degree of reduction and fusion with the tibia to that in Pterodaustro guinazui, but with the distal end having an extensive spherical joint formed by proximal tarsal bones fused to the tibia; with spiny processes on the medial and lateral faces of the distal area. (Bonaparte & Sanchez, 1974)
